Day 1
Arusha – Fly to Serengeti National Park
Your safari begins with a transfer from your hotel in Arusha to the domestic airport for a scheduled light aircraft flight to the Serengeti. The flight typically takes approximately one hour, offering aerial views of the Rift Valley and the expansive plains below.
Upon landing at the designated airstrip in Central Serengeti, your professional safari guide receives you and the game drive begins immediately. The Serengeti ecosystem supports one of the highest wildlife densities in Africa, with established populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras.
A picnic lunch is served in the bush or at a scenic location within the park. In the late afternoon, you proceed to your luxury lodge or tented camp, strategically located in a prime wildlife corridor. The accommodation offers spacious suites, en-suite facilities, fine dining, and uninterrupted views of the surrounding savannah.

Day 2
Full Day in Serengeti National Park
This day is dedicated to comprehensive wildlife exploration in the Serengeti. Early morning game drives provide optimal conditions for predator activity, particularly lions returning from night hunts and cheetahs scanning open plains.
Central Serengeti is known for year-round game viewing due to permanent water sources and consistent prey presence. Leopards are frequently located in riverine woodland, while hyenas and jackals patrol open areas. Depending on the season, segments of the Great Migration may pass through the region.
You may opt for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch or return to camp midday for relaxation before an afternoon drive. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After breakfast, you depart the Serengeti by road toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers continued wildlife sightings en route as the landscape gradually shifts from open plains to highland terrain.
Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, you descend approximately 600 meters to the crater floor for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site supports a dense concentration of wildlife within a compact volcanic caldera. Lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and hyenas are consistently observed. The crater is also one of Tanzania’s most reliable locations for sightings of the endangered black rhino.
A picnic lunch is taken near a designated site within the crater before ascending to the rim and continuing to Karatu. Your luxury lodge in Karatu offers a tranquil setting with landscaped gardens, refined cuisine, and high service standards, providing a relaxed conclusion to your safari circuit.

Day 4
Karatu – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, you depart Karatu and drive back to Arusha, a journey of approximately two to three hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport according to your onward travel arrangements.
