Full Itinerary
Day 1
ARRIVING AT THE AIRPORT
After being picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be transferred to your Arusha lodging for the pre-safari briefing dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Transfer to Tarangire National Park in the early morning. The Park is well-known for having the greatest concentration of elephants in the world, which are visible among its magnificent baobab trees, which may live for hundreds of years. The Tarangire River, which serves as the park’s sole water source during the dry season and draws a variety of wildlife, is the source of the park’s name.
We will have the opportunity to witness a variety of animals on the riverbanks seeking water thanks to its numerous river circuits and game drive loops. We’re going to have a picnic lunch so we can explore for a little while longer. We will drive out of Tarangire and arrive at our accommodation within the park after an amazing day there.
Day 3
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Head out for a game drive with lunchboxes after breakfast to locate the creatures that are usually spotted first thing in the morning. After eating lunch at one of the park’s picnic areas and continuing with a game drive in the afternoon, drive to Karatu in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4
KARATU - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast today, you depart for the well-known Serengeti National Park. You will have lifelong memories of the enormous Serengeti that stretches out before you in all directions. In Maasai, serengeti means “endless plains.” Over 2 million large animals, including over a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and various species of gazelles, call this 14,763 km2 park home.
The amount of prey that migrates around the park attracts large predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas to the area. Along with about 500 different species of birds, the area is home to numerous tiny animals like jackals, monkeys, and mongooses.
You will carry on with your safari after enjoying a picnic lunch in the park, arriving at your quaint camp in the middle of the savannah for dinner and the night.
Day 5
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
You will spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti National Park after breakfast. Its endless grasslands and the variety of species you can come across will never cease to astound you.
During your safari, you will eat your picnic lunch. Alternatively, you can go back to your camp and unwind before continuing your journey. After that, you’ll head back to your camp for the evening and the night.
Day 6
NGORONGORO CRATER - KARATU
Your entire day will be spent exploring the Serengeti National Park after breakfast. Even after visiting, you will be in awe of the vast open spaces and the variety of wildlife that awaits you.
You can choose to relax back at your camp before continuing the adventure, or you can eat your picnic lunch while on safari. After dinner, you will spend the night back at your camp.
Day 6
TRANSFER TO ARUSHA
You’ll take a car back to Arusha for lunch after breakfast. You’ll be driven to Kilimanjaro Airport later in the afternoon in preparation for an international flight.
