Day 1
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, approximately two to three hours by road. Tarangire is known for its large elephant population, open savannah, and ancient baobab trees. The Tarangire River serves as a permanent water source, attracting wildlife throughout the year.
Game drives focus along riverine areas where elephants, buffalo, zebra, and giraffe gather in significant numbers. Lions are frequently observed resting under acacia trees, and leopards occasionally appear in woodland zones. After a full afternoon game drive and picnic lunch inside the park, you proceed to a luxury lodge in the Karatu or Lake Manyara region for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you descend into the Rift Valley floor to explore Lake Manyara National Park. Though relatively compact, the park contains diverse habitats including groundwater forest, open plains, and an alkaline lake.
Elephants and large baboon troops are commonly seen in the forest, while hippos and birdlife populate the lakeshore. The park is also associated with occasional tree-climbing lion sightings. After a half-day game drive with picnic lunch, you return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3
Lake Manyara – Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you depart for Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The terrain gradually shifts from highland forest to expansive plains as you enter the Serengeti ecosystem.
Game viewing begins immediately upon entry into Central Serengeti. This region supports year-round wildlife density due to permanent water sources and stable prey populations. Lions are frequently found on kopjes, cheetahs patrol open grasslands, and leopards inhabit riverine areas. Large herds of wildebeest and zebra are present across much of the year.
Arrive at your luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Central Serengeti – Ndutu Area
After breakfast, you proceed south toward the Ndutu region, part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape transitions into short-grass plains, particularly significant between December and March during the Great Migration calving season.
During calving months, large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra attract predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Outside this seasonal window, Ndutu remains productive with resident wildlife populations.
Arrive at your luxury camp in Ndutu for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Full Day in Ndutu
A full day is dedicated to exploring the Ndutu plains and woodland corridors. Seasonal migration movements may be observed depending on travel month, particularly during the calving period. Predator activity is often heightened due to prey concentration.
Your guide will adjust routes according to real-time wildlife movement to optimize sightings. After a full day of game drives with picnic lunch, return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6
Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, you drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater and descend approximately 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive.
The crater floor hosts a dense wildlife population including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, and hyenas. It is also one of Tanzania’s most reliable areas for observing the endangered black rhino. The contained ecosystem allows concentrated wildlife viewing within a defined volcanic landscape.
After a picnic lunch, you ascend to the crater rim and transfer to a luxury lodge overlooking the highlands for dinner and overnight.

Day 7
Ngorongoro – Arusha (Departure)
After breakfast, you depart from the Ngorongoro highlands and drive back to Arusha. The journey takes approximately three to four hours, passing through the scenic landscapes of Karatu and the Rift Valley.
Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport according to your onward travel arrangements.
