Day 1
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, approximately two to three hours by road. Tarangire is recognized for its expansive savannah, large baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which functions as a permanent water source attracting wildlife throughout the year.
Game drives concentrate along riverine corridors where elephant herds gather in significant numbers. Buffalo, zebra, giraffe, and various antelope species are regularly observed. Lions are often located resting beneath acacia trees, while leopards may appear in woodland areas.
After a full afternoon game drive with picnic lunch inside the park, you proceed to a luxury lodge in the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Tarangire – Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As the landscape transitions from highland forest to open plains, wildlife sightings gradually increase.
Upon entering Central Serengeti, game viewing begins en route to your lodge. This region maintains stable wildlife density year-round due to permanent water sources and a consistent prey base. Lions occupy kopjes and grassland edges, cheetahs patrol open plains, and leopards are frequently located along river systems.
Arrive at your luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)
After breakfast, you begin a game drive north toward the Kogatende region of Northern Serengeti. The journey itself functions as an extended game drive, passing through diverse habitats.
Northern Serengeti becomes particularly active between July and October when the Great Migration herds gather near the Mara River. River crossing attempts attract predators and create dynamic wildlife interactions. Outside migration season, the area remains productive with resident lion prides, elephants, giraffes, and antelope species.
By late afternoon, you arrive at your luxury camp in Kogatende, positioned near key wildlife corridors.

Day 4
Full Day in Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)
This day is dedicated to exploring the Northern Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives focus on the Mara River and surrounding plains.
During migration months, large herds of wildebeests and zebras may be observed along riverbanks, with potential river crossings depending on herd movement. Predator presence in this region is consistently strong. Outside peak migration, the area offers lower vehicle density and steady wildlife viewing.
A picnic lunch is served inside the park to maximize field time before returning to camp in the late afternoon.

Day 5
Northern Serengeti – Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you drive back toward Central Serengeti with continued game viewing en route. This movement allows exploration of additional wildlife zones and expands viewing diversity.
Upon arrival in Central Serengeti, you proceed with an afternoon game drive before returning to your luxury camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6
Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, you depart Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at the crater rim, you descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
The crater floor supports a dense and stable wildlife population including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and hyenas. It remains one of Tanzania’s most reliable locations for observing the endangered black rhino. The contained ecosystem allows concentrated wildlife viewing within a defined volcanic landscape.
After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you ascend and proceed to a luxury lodge near the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 7
Ngorongoro – Arusha (Departure)
After breakfast, you leave the Ngorongoro highlands and begin the drive back to Arusha, a journey of approximately three to four hours through the rolling landscapes of Karatu and the Great Rift Valley.
On arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport in line with your onward travel plans.
