Full Itinerary
Day 1
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, approximately two to three hours by road. Tarangire is defined by open savannah, seasonal wetlands, and ancient baobab trees, with the Tarangire River acting as a permanent wildlife anchor during dry months.
Game drives focus along riverine corridors where elephant herds gather in significant numbers. Buffalo, zebra, giraffe, and various antelope species are regularly observed. Lions are frequently located resting in shaded areas, while leopards may appear in woodland sections. Compared to other northern parks, Tarangire maintains lower vehicle density, offering a more private wildlife experience.
After a full afternoon game drive and picnic lunch inside the park, you proceed to a luxury lodge in the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, you descend toward the Rift Valley floor to explore Lake Manyara National Park. Though relatively compact, the park contains groundwater forest, open grassland, and an alkaline lake ecosystem within a short driving radius.
Game drives move through dense forest where elephants and large baboon troops are common. Along the lakeshore, hippos and diverse birdlife create active wildlife zones. The park is also associated with occasional tree-climbing lion sightings. Its varied habitat structure allows multiple species interactions within limited travel distance.
After a picnic lunch and continued exploration, you return to your lodge in the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater – Transfer to Serengeti
An early breakfast is followed by a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater gate. You descend approximately 600 meters into the caldera for a half-day game drive. The crater floor supports a stable year-round wildlife population estimated at over 25,000 animals.
Lions, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hyena, and hippos are consistently observed. The crater remains one of the most reliable locations in Tanzania for sightings of the endangered black rhino. The contained environment enables concentrated viewing within a relatively small geographic area.
After a picnic lunch, you ascend the crater rim and proceed toward Serengeti National Park. Wildlife sightings continue en route as the landscape transitions from highland terrain to open plains. By late afternoon, you arrive at your luxury lodge or tented camp in Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Full Day in Serengeti National Park
This day is dedicated to extended game drives in Central Serengeti. The region’s permanent water sources and stable prey base support year-round predator activity.
Lions are commonly located on kopjes or in tall grass. Leopards occupy riverine woodland corridors, while cheetahs prefer open plains. Elephant herds, buffalo, giraffes, and various antelope species form the broader wildlife matrix. If traveling during migration periods, large concentrations of wildebeest may be present within accessible driving range.
You may opt for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch or divide the day between morning and afternoon drives with midday relaxation at camp. Evening return to your luxury accommodation.

Day 5
Serengeti Exploration
A second full day in the Serengeti allows for deeper exploration beyond primary circuits. Early morning drives increase probability of observing active predator behavior. Afternoon drives expand coverage toward adjacent sectors depending on seasonal wildlife movement.
The extended three-night stay reduces transit pressure and allows more flexible routing based on real-time wildlife tracking. The scale of the Serengeti, combined with relatively low structural density outside central areas, preserves the sense of open wilderness.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 6
Serengeti – Fly to Arusha
After breakfast, you transfer to the designated airstrip for a scheduled light aircraft flight from Serengeti to Arusha. The flight provides aerial views of the plains and eliminates the need for a full-day overland return.
Upon arrival in Arusha, you are transferred to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport according to your onward travel schedule.
