Day 1

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Depart from Arusha in the morning for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, expansive savannah, and ancient baobab trees. The Tarangire River acts as a permanent wildlife corridor, particularly in the dry season.

Enjoy a full-day game drive observing elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and lions. The park’s low visitor density allows for private, uninterrupted wildlife viewing. Late afternoon transfer to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

OVERNIGHT:

Lodge/ Camp

MEALS:

Lunch & Dinner

Day 2

Tarangire – Central Serengeti

After breakfast, drive toward Serengeti National Park, entering the Central Serengeti (Seronera region). The landscape transitions from Tarangire’s wooded savannah to open grasslands and rolling plains of Serengeti.

Afternoon game drive begins immediately upon entry. Central Serengeti is famous for predator activity year-round, with lions often seen on kopjes, cheetahs patrolling open plains, and leopards resting in riverine trees. Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

OVERNIGHT:

Lodge/ Camp

Day 3

Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)

After an early breakfast, drive north into the remote Kogatende region of Northern Serengeti. This area is less visited, offering a more exclusive safari experience with scenic riverine habitats, kopjes, and abundant wildlife.

Game drives focus on predators and migratory herds depending on the season. During July–October, this region becomes a hotspot for river crossings and Great Migration activity. Arrive at your lodge or luxury camp in Kogatende for dinner and overnight.

Lodge/ Camp

Day 4

Full Day in Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)

Spend a full day exploring Kogatende and surrounding plains. Early morning and late afternoon game drives maximize predator activity, while midday breaks can be used for rest or optional short walks near the camp.

This remote area allows in-depth observation of wildlife with fewer vehicles and more space for photography. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

OVERNIGHT:

Lodge/ Camp

MEALS:

Day 5

Northern Serengeti – Central Serengeti

After breakfast, return south to Central Serengeti for two additional nights. The drive itself provides wildlife viewing opportunities as the ecosystem shifts from riverine habitats to classic Serengeti plains.

Afternoon game drive in Central Serengeti to continue predator tracking and herbivore observation. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

MEALS:

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 6

Full Day in Central Serengeti

A full day in Central Serengeti allows extended exploration of the park’s most productive wildlife zones. Early morning game drives increase the likelihood of witnessing active predators, while midday drives focus on resident herbivores and birdlife.

Depending on the season, portions of the Great Migration may be visible. Picnic lunch in the bush allows uninterrupted wildlife observation. Afternoon game drive before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

OVERNIGHT:

Lodge/ Camp

Day 7

Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, depart Central Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend approximately 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

The crater floor contains one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife in a compact area, including lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, and occasionally black rhinos. Following a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend to the rim and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon to conclude your private safari.
