Tanzania is a year -round destination, but the best time for safaris is during the dry season (June to march) when wildlife viewing is at its best. The great Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti typically occurs from April to December and it is highlight for many travelers.

Most travelers require a visa to enter Tanzania. you can obtain a visa on arrival at the airport or apply online for an e-visa before travel. please check your country’s specific requirements

We offer three main categories:

We use custom 4×4 safari Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs for optimal game viewing. Each vehicle is equipped with a fridge, power outlets and Wi-Fi (on request) for comfort during long drives.

Yes part of every safari’s proceeds go toward local conservation and education initiatives in wildlife areas. By traveling with Wazo Safaris, you contribute directly to protecting Tanzania’s natural heritage.

Yes you can charge your devices whilst on safari. Most camps have connection points in the tent or room. Also, in all our safari vehicles there are charging points available so you can keep all your cameras and phones topped up and never miss that wonderful sighting.

We don’t advise drinking tap water in Tanzania and as such we provide safe drinking water in all camps and vehicles so guests can remain well hydrated throughout their trip.
