Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater, Then Drive to Arusha
After breakfast, you depart the Serengeti heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through changing landscapes where open plains gradually give way to highland scenery. The highlight of the day is the descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most concentrated wildlife areas in Africa.
Within the crater floor, ecosystems exist side by side—open grasslands, wetlands, and acacia woodland—supporting an extraordinary density of animals. Here, you may encounter black rhino, large elephant bulls, hippos, lions, and vast herds of buffalo, often within a single game drive.
