Destination Overview
Arusha National Park is one of Tanzania’s most scenic and accessible national parks, located about 37 kilometers from Arusha town in northern Tanzania. Wildlife
Although smaller than many other parks in Tanzania, Arusha National Park hosts a variety of wildlife. Visitors can encounter giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, bushbucks, and waterbucks roaming across the plains and forests.
The park is particularly famous for its black-and-white colobus monkeys, which are commonly seen jumping through the forest canopy, along with vervet monkeys and other small mammals. The park is easily accessible by road from Arusha, with a journey taking about one hour.
