After being picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be transferred to your Arusha lodging for the pre-safari briefing dinner and overnight stay.
We have a busy day ahead of us today. We'll get up early and make the long drive to Lake Natron, passing through several tiny communities en route to gradually get away from Northern Tanzania's popular tourist destination. Before we get to the lake, we'll make a lunch break so we can observe the aftermath of a volcanic explosion. We will get to the Lake Natron Conservation Area after lunch. Within the conservation area, we will spend the night in a lodge.
We will have the entire day to experience Lake Natron today, including touring the body of water, flamingo viewing, and exploring the ruins of prehistoric hominid footprints. Complete with Maasai guides from Lake Natron who are native to the area and will tour us around.The Maasai that reside in this area serve as the guides, and the community manages this area.
Furthermore, unlike in national parks, the money collected at the entry of Lake Natron goes directly to the local community rather than the Tanzanian State.We'll also go to some natural ponds and the Ngare Sero waterfall. Following an extensive day of excursions, we will head back to the resort for dinner and relaxation.
We're going to wake up and head to the Serengeti today. After several hours of travelling, we will enter the Serengeti, where we will witness the first creatures in the wild, including elephants and giraffes, among many others.
We will spend the entire day on safari in the Serengeti National Park on the fifth day of our round-trip travel across Tanzania. Tanzania's most renowned wildlife park. Enjoying one of the most breathtaking vistas on earth, we will be able to witness entire families of elephants strolling through the park, along with lions and lionesses, zebras, cheetahs, and, with any luck, the leopard—one of the hardest species to spot—in the wild.
You will spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti National Park after breakfast. Its endless grasslands and the variety of species you can come across will never cease to astound you.
During your safari, you will eat your picnic lunch. Alternatively, you can go back to your camp and unwind before continuing your journey. After that, you'll head back to your camp for the evening and the night.
After breakfast, you will depart and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area during your final morning game drive in the Serengeti. Before entering the well-known Ngorongoro crater, where you will find yet another magnificent environment, you will take in the surroundings. There are lots of animals that you will encounter. In actuality, the crater has about 100 animals per km^.
Along with enjoying a picnic lunch among the hippos, you'll be able to see zebras, gazelles, and birds up close. After your safari, you will arrive at Karatu for the evening and the night.
You'll take a car back to Arusha for lunch after breakfast. You'll be driven to Kilimanjaro Airport later in the afternoon in preparation for an international flight.
