3. When is the best time to go on a safari in Tanzania?
Tanzania is a year -round destination, but the best time for safaris is during the dry season (June to march) when wildlife viewing is at its best. The great Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti typically occurs from April to December and it is highlight for many travelers.

While we don’t book international flights directly, we’re happy to advise on the best routes airlines and arrival/departure times to fit your itinerary.

We operate across Northern, Southern, and Coastal Tanzania including Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Mikumi, Ruaha, Selous (Nyerere National Park), and the Zanzibar Archipelago.

We offer three main categories:
- Luxury: Premium tented camps and exclusive lodges with personalized service. All options are carefully selected for quality, comfort, and authentic Tanzania character.
- Mid-range: comfortable tented camps or boutique lodges
- Budget: Public campsites: Public campsites or simple lodges
16. What kind of vehicles do you use on safari?
We use custom 4×4 safari Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs for optimal game viewing. Each vehicle is equipped with a fridge, power outlets and Wi-Fi (on request) for comfort during long drives.
17. Does Wazo Safaris support conservation or community projects?
Yes part of every safari’s proceeds go toward local conservation and education initiatives in wildlife areas. By traveling with Wazo Safaris, you contribute directly to protecting Tanzania’s natural heritage.
18. Can I charge my device whilst on safari?
Yes you can charge your devices whilst on safari. Most camps have connection points in the tent or room. Also, in all our safari vehicles there are charging points available so you can keep all your cameras and phones topped up and never miss that wonderful sighting.
19. Is Tanzania a good honeymoon and destination?

20. Is It safe to drink tape water in Tanzania?
We don’t advise drinking tap water in Tanzania and as such we provide safe drinking water in all camps and vehicles so guests can remain well hydrated throughout their trip.
