Your safari begins in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Circuit. After breakfast and a short briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2–3 hours). Famous for its baobab trees, Tarangire is home to large elephant herds, giraffes, buffaloes, and predators such as lions and leopards. Enjoy an afternoon game drive followed by dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp inside or near the park.
